Training

Providing tours of your museum, gallery or heritage site adds value to the overall visitor experience, makes it more memorable, helps visitors to understand your collection and gets them to really see what they are looking at!

The delivery of tours can also improve income generation, raise the profile of your visitor attraction and improve the personal skills of your team.

London Town Tours provides bespoke tour training that is designed to equip your team with the skills and confidence to deliver tours, or short talks on specific objects, that are interesting, engaging and enjoyable, and to show off your visitor attraction. Training can be designed in modular format for delivery as a complete training programme or as individual ‘one-off’ sessions, allowing a mix and match approach to suit your individual requirements.

Each training programme is built on a detailed understanding of your individual visitor attraction – its strategic objectives and brand values; its needs, requirements and aims; and its collections, displays and heritage. This enables the training modules to be adapted to suit the environment that makes your attraction unique.
